Laurie Cook

Executive Director
Laurie brings a wealth of management experience to NorthPointe Woods, along with a fierce dedication to enriching the lives of seniors and developing relationships between staff, residents, and their families. Laurie, who earned her Nursing Home Administrator accreditation from Michigan State University in 2019, has served in management positions at senior living communities for the last 6 years. According to Laurie: I’m passionate about working with seniors and I’m looking forward to building on NorthPointe Woods’ excellent reputation. My goal is to make our community the top choice in independent living and assisted living in Battle Creek.

Director of Health Services
Since taking on the role of Director of Health Services at NorthPointe Woods, Erika, an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse, has made a difference. She’s worked closely with the nursing team to expand and enhance the health services that residents receive, as well as working to maintain exceptional quality of care. Her reasons are simple: “I have always heard great things about this community. The care staff has an exceptional reputation, but what really drew me in and inspired me to head up the team were the residents. They were so relaxed and welcoming. It felt like I was joining a family.”

Mark Ingle

Director of Plant Operations and Environmental Services
Mark engages in best practices to keep our operations, including facilities management and emergency preparedness, conducted at the highest level. Testing and troubleshooting fire systems, generators, and other mechanical systems/equipment, plus overseeing repairs in common areas and apartments are just a few of the key tasks on his priority list. With more than 30 years’ experience in construction and trade management as well as plant maintenance at NorthPointe Woods, Mark is uniquely qualified to effectively serve the community and residents.
